Curbside Lawn Debris & Spring Cleanup/Bulk Curbside Pickup COMPLETE – No lawn debris or bulk pickup items may be curbside at this time. Spring Curbside Bulk pickup, originally delayed due to the COVID-9 emergency, was rescheduled and is now complete. Leaf and brush debris has been completed until fall. Debris must be either removed by a private contractor or brought to the Township recycling center, free of charge, no permit needed. The recycling center is open year round. Check page 10 of the recycling calendar mailed to your home and on-line for hours and regulations. HERE.

We are pleased to present the 2020 Marlboro Township Recycling Calendar available HERE, on the Township Website, and soon to be mailed to your home. The official calendar can be identified by its green, white and red cardstock cover, is made from recycled paper, and ‘OFFICIAL’ and ‘DO NOT DISCARD’ printed in red. In addition to local recycling information, curbside collections and bulk pickup, the calendar provides important emergency contact numbers and websites for local, state and federal agencies. Please post the calendar in your home for reference throughout the year. As a reminder, all curbside pickup is ‘weather permitting’ and changes will be announced via email, social media and on the Town website. Important Recycling Information
Township Recycle Yard - The yard will be opened for cardboard, comingled paper, electronics, brush and leaves only. No bulk trash items of any kind will be accepted. In order to ensure the safety of our employees and adhere to the CDC‘s requirement of “social distancing”, Township staff will not be able to assist you with placing your items in any of our containers, and we may need to limit the amount of cars in the site at one time. Recycling Will Not Be Collected in Plastic Bags!
The County has a zero tolerance policy on recycling in plastic bags. Therefore, we are unable to collect any recycling that is in plastic bags. Your recycling items will be left at the curb if they are in a plastic bag. Please place recycling items loose in a container curbside, no larger than 32 gallons. TOWNSHIP RECYCLING PROGRAM- Please note that Marlboro has contracted with Central Jersey Waste and Recycling to pick up the Township Recycling.
All recyclables must be placed curbside by 7:00am of your pick up day and may be collected anytime between 7am and 5pm. Items must be placed in a reusable container that is not larger than 32 gallons; plastic bags or larger containers will not be collected. If your items have not been collected by 5pm, please leave them curbside and leave a message at 732 536-0188 or email to .
