Winter Storm #5
Update #1
February 17, 2019

Dear Resident,

Similar to last week, Marlboro’s Office of Emergency Management is again monitoring two storm systems, the first of which is forecasted by the National Weather Service to bring some mixed precipitation to our area during the overnight hours into Monday morning. An inch or less of sleet and snow accumulation is projected, followed by rain and warming temperatures in the afternoon. Marlboro DPW is prepared to mobilize if and when needed.

While still early and preliminary, the second system is currently forecasted to begin Wednesday morning. This system is projected to start as all snow turning to a mix of precipitation later on Wednesday. Some reports are forecasting a potential for 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation.
In the meantime, if you have not already, please visit www.marlboro-nj.gov and click ‘Communications for Residents’ button on the right side of the home page to register for email, social media and police SWIFT 911 calls.

We will continue to track this storm system and report back with updates as they become available.
