Dear Resident,
As of 5:00 pm, the forecast for the second storm system in as many days is for a mix of precipitation to begin in the mid early morning hours on Tuesday. It is projected that the storm will bring 1-3 inches of snow accumulation, although the forecast still remains unsettled. Regardless, there will be a mix of precipitation which is likely to result in hazardous driving conditions, especially during rush hour. It is forecasted that the snowfall will be followed by warming temperatures and significant rainfall.
Public Works completed the salting of all Township roadways earlier today which will moderate the accumulation of ice and snow on the roadways. Based upon the current forecast, Public Works will be mobilizing crews in the early morning hours to respond to the storm.
Please take great care if travel is necessary, and, as always, ensure your family is adequately prepared for weather emergencies, including the possibility of power outages. Please review the prior updates to ensure that the Township is able to stay in contact with you in the event of emergencies
Stay safe.
Mayor Jon Hornik
