Winter Storm 4 – Update #3
February 11, 2019
Dear Resident,
As predicted, the first of the two storm systems left us with only a coating of snow on the roadways. Marlboro Public Works has now completed the salting of all Township roadways and conditions are largely clear.
Marlboro’s Office of Emergency Management continues to monitor the second storm system, still projected to bring a mix of precipitation, starting off as rain or sleet. The storm has the potential to bring 1-3 inches of snow accumulation starting in the mid early Tuesday morning hours according to the National Weather Service’s most recent update. Hazardous driving conditions at rush hour should be anticipated. It is forecast that warming temperatures and rainfall will follow the snowfall.
In the meantime, please take this opportunity to review Update 1 and Update 2 and take the steps to ensure that the Township has multiple ways to stay in contact with you. Please do not wait until a true emergency is bearing down.
We will continue to provide additional information as updates are available.
