Coronavirus Update #24 Part 2 – Holidays
Dear Resident,
This email is an update to my April 7 Holiday Message. Our holidays and spring break are not what many of us had planned, but our community, as always, has come together. Please review the programs below.
Scrambled Egg Hunt To Go – Registration deadline today at 5pm. Marlboro Police Officers will deliver candy filled eggs to the homes of residents with children 12 years old and younger (one registration per family, please). Place a basket near your mailbox by midnight on Friday and your own at-home Easter egg hunt will be delivered on Saturday or Sunday. Many thanks to the Recreation Department and Marlboro Police for making this happen! If you need assistance please email or call 732-627-0100. Please see the FLYER for registration details.
Virtual Religious Services- To ensure that no one has to be alone, we reached out to every religious organization in Marlboro and asked them to provide a list of virtual services that are available to the public. That list is HERE.
Restaurants and Grocery Stores - Many restaurants and supermarkets have Holiday meals available. Please review the Restaurant and Grocery list HERE. Check their websites and social media sites as noted in the spreadsheets for specials and options.
This week, as we celebrate the Holidays that are so meaningful to many of us, please share photos of your Seder or Easter meal and virtual gatherings on the town Facebook page to the post pinned to the top of the page. For those that do not celebrate, please upload a picture of your family meal. Family gatherings of any kind are a reason to be grateful. If you do not have access to social media and wish your photo to be shared, please send a jpeg via email to and we will upload it on your behalf.
On behalf of the Township Council and the Marlboro Township employees, I wish all that celebrate a meaningful holiday.
Mayor Jon Hornik
