Dear resident:
We are very lucky to have two First Aid Squads in Marlboro Township that provide free emergency services for our Town. The Marlboro and Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squads (Squads) are made up entirely of volunteers that are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While we hope we never need their services, they provide a critical resource when we do.
I am writing to make you aware of volunteer opportunities that exist within the field of emergency medical services (EMS) with Marlboro Township’s volunteer first aid squads. The Squads are well established organizations in Marlboro Township with more than a century of combined service to the community.
The Squads offer free EMT certification and driver training to recruits, and active membership also qualifies volunteers for discounts on various Township fees and memberships and an annual contribution towards an individual retirement-type program. The training and experience offered is invaluable, particularly for those in or looking to pursue a career in the medical field.
As with all volunteer organizations, the Squads depend upon individuals who are willing and able to commit the time and energy. Marlboro and Morganville First Aid are both actively looking for new recruits to supplement their ranks. If you may be interested in a fulfilling, rewarding and educational volunteer opportunity, please reach out to the contacts below.
